Member of the House of Keys, and Celtic League member, Bill Henderson received unanimous support in Tynwald this week for a motion calling for the return of the Chronicles of Man and the Isles from the British Library to the Isle of Man.
It is now over twenty years since the Celtic League suggested that the manuscript which is historically important to the Island and its people was returned.
The campaign recently received a major boost when the main newspaper on the Isle of Man (the Examiner) came out with a call for the Chronicles to be returned.
There is little doubt that this latest political expression of strong political support will bolster the Manx case to have the manuscript returned.
