The Scottish Rugby Union seem somewhat downbeat about including the word ALBA as part of the strip on their kit.
The body has indicated it will review the position in two years time but in the meantime the Celtic League will continue to press for a decision prior to that date.

Dear Mr Tal-e-bot
Inclusion of 'Alba' on Scottish Rugby kit
Thank you for your letter addressed to George Jack and your suggestions regarding the appearance of future Scotland rugby strips.
The new strip, which was launched at the August Tests last year, will be worn by the national team this coming season as, generally strips are valid for a period of two years. As the time approaches to think about refreshing the strip, we will review many elements of the design and appearance, and take on board all comments made by our many stakeholders.
We welcome feedback from supporters on all aspects of the game – both positive and challenging – and do listen to the views expressed when moving forward on all levels.
Yours sincerely
Lesley Cuthbert
