News from Celtic League The Assistant General Secretary (AGS) of the League was recognised for his contribution to community radio last week by being awarded a ?Golden Microphone? for his work on the ?One and All? programme at Source FM. Tony Leamon has been a co-producer and presenter on the ?One and All? programme with past Kernow Branch Secretary, Mike Chappell, since it was set up in 2010 to further the campaign issues relating to the Kernow Branch of the Celtic League. However, in 2011 a branch decision was taken to allow the radio station to operate independently, because members did not want the radio station to be seen to be the official voice of the branch. The radio station has nevertheless continued to promote Celtic League campaigns and raise issues relating to the Celtic countries, especially on the topic of human rights. Most recently the ?One and All? programme has given substantial coverage to the de Silva Inquiry into the murder of Irish lawyer, Pat Finucane, and interviewed a close relative of Rosemary Nelson, another Irish lawyer who was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries. The content of the programme has successfully given public airing to issues that are often largely ignored by mainstream media outlets and this has been a contributory factor to its growing success. Mr Leamon continues to work on the ?One and All? programme with Mike Chappell and last year were both invited to put together another radio programme for Redruth Radio, ?Hubbadullya?, which focuses more on Cornish culture and identity. The ?One and All? programme over the last two years has built up a strong following and is becoming well known for its outspoken presenters and controversial topic matter. The ?One and All?radio programme broadcasts on Monday mornings between 9am to 11am on Source FM? 96.1FM and online at (voir le site) and on Thursday mornings from 10am to 12 noon on Redruth Radio at (voir le site) Related links: (voir le site) Facebook Group: (voir le site) Website: (voir le site) For comment or clarification on this news item in the first instance contact: Rhisiart Tal-e-bot,
